The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension of the deadline for online application submission for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (CUET UG 2024).

According to the updated timetable, applicants can now register their online applications for the entrance examination until March 31st, by 9:50 PM.
On March 17, the UGC chief stated that the schedule for the entrance exam wouldn't be altered due to the Lok Sabha elections. The CUET-UG 2024 will proceed as planned, taking place between May 15 and May 31, 2024.

The UGC Chairman mentioned that the date sheet for CUET UG 2024 will be published after the registration process is concluded.

The NTA also stated that candidates who have already submitted their online application for CUET (UG) - 2024 can add additional subjects during the correction period.

In the entrance test, there will be a choice of 33 languages and 29 subjects. Candidates can select any subject or language according to the requirements of the university or organization. Each language paper will consist of 50 questions, and candidates are required to answer 40 of them.
